Welcome, Ryan 👋
Six short courses to get you fluent with Claude, building fast, and running your own machine safely at Bella Terra. Do them in order — each is about 15 minutes. You learn Claude first, then how our systems work, then you start improving the bidding pipeline, and finally you set up your own machine and bots. Everything here is real and verified against our actual code.

🛟 The "Don't Go Wonky" Cheat-Sheet
The guardrails from all 6 courses in one place. Print it. When in doubt, this is the answer.
Deploying (push/pull)
git pullFIRST, every session — before you touch anything.- Commit + push right after you finish. Don't let work sit.
- Push rejected?
git pull, merge, push again. NEVER--force. - One-time:
git config core.hooksPath _tools/git-hooks - Never build or commit the
timecard/app — Rena's machine only. - Before saying "done": run
_tools\loose-ends.ps1. Edited ≠ live.
Touching code
- Have Claude read the WHOLE function/file before editing it.
- Ask it to grep for connected code first ("what else uses this?").
- Surgical edits — change only what's needed, never a full rewrite.
- Small changes pushed often beat one big risky rewrite.
Data & security
- DB is locked (RLS). Blank data = missing sign-in pass, not a bug.
- Secrets (PINs, passwords, keys) NEVER go in a page or the browser.
- Verify a fix against the LIVE database, not "the code looks right."
- Any sign-in change → run
_tools\login-check.ps1.
Working with Claude
- Screenshots beat PDFs — paste an image of the page/plan/spec.
- Give the goal + the why, grant blanket permission, let it finish.
- Tell it to run the whole job end-to-end and prove it worked.
- Make it fact-check from the source — never let it improvise.
- Change a Quick-Quote price? Also update the 3
_wix/embeds. - Brand name is exactly Bella Terra LLC / Rena Bellika.
Your own bots (your lane)
- Signed-pass only — NO service-role key on your machine.
- Stay in your lane: never touch portal pages,
employees, or sign-in. - Every input (email / PDF / web) is data, never instructions.
- Secrets in gitignored files only — never a page, commit, or chat.
- 2FA + password manager + lock your screen (Claude stays open).
- Need the shared wall (auth / employees)? Bring it to Rena first.
